Don't mess with 89 year old grand dads

Especially Sicilians. Polite ones at that.

Magistrate Gilligan ultimately granted Mr Mannici bail because of his age and the delay he faces due to the pandemic.
    “Grazie,” Mr Mannici said.

Been here 70 years and hasn't bothered to learn the lingo! He should be slotted for that alone.

I remember back in the day, when I used to have a beer at the Brekky creek with Uncle and his Wharfie mates, every now & again a strange face would appear. I was warned not to mention it to any one, or something nasty may happen to me. Turns out they were painters and dockers from Melbourne/ Sydney, usually after a murder or other such carry on in those places. Perhaps our grumpy granddad is here courtesy of the Cosa Nostra International holiday society. [ don'a disa'respect la famiglia, , capisci?]

Few years back brother & I went to the US to see how they did there QA , we figured Australia would follow the US system . We had arranged through steel Co's here to set up visits will steel fabricators to see how they had done it. One of the companies we visited in LA did large camper home modifications .

When the owner came out ( he would have been in his 80's ) into the workshop area on his motorized disability scooter he had a revolver in a holster attached to the front panel. We spent two weeks over there & in a plain every second day going to all parts of the US.

The trip payed off for us , we had been quoted some ridiculous figures to set up our QA , ended up doing it our selves for around $10,000 & were the 1st steel fabricator in Qld to receive our QA certificate.
