When was the last time you saw an optometrist Ian? Rick130 needs a new job.
Got new glasses less than a week ago. I needed them.

Some wag suggested Speed bump, I dismissed that, I think Rick is too restless and fidgety. That'd make him hard to hit.

Are you a republican or royalist, Rick?

Wipe that, I imagine it would involve "on call".

All offers and suggestions will be considered.
Knowing Rick's empathetic nature, I'll open the suggestions with :

Mammogram Operator Assistant, prepping patients for the procedure. (No training required I imagine)
Tram Conductor, he will require intense training to punch holes in tickets.

I'm anticipating sage advice from a mature, Adelaide Hills contributor.
All assistance will be appreciated, but let's not be silly.
But of course, nice to be asked. Ta. I think a couple of weeks at Byron Bay & Environs should be just reward for such a hardworking, diligent, gent who goes out of his way to help others in their hour(s) of need in the most inclement weather. I would readily donate 1 KG of Rick's favourite Coffee to the Fighting Fund if I knew what it was but somehow I doubt it would arrive there with AP's current record. The thought was there for next time.

You make him sound like a postman, Des.
Hmmm, can you ride a bike Rick?

I'm sure he can Ian, but to Adelaide??? OMFG!

He might have to change his name to Sorearse Rick or Prostate Massage Rick. Then again, he might arrive in his Diseasle D2. We could have a Xmas Drink & send him on his way with the Beans. Yes his parents are coming too, God help us.

Did you see what I did there?

No Discos for Aussie Post Des. He'll have to ride the CT110 all the way. I'm visualising it now, after the 1900 kay marathon through wind, hail and snow, Rick arrives at your letterbox to find you waiting (waiting, waiting), half of warm, flat beer in hand.
In a single movement, Rick snatches and inhales the tepid, bubblefree Southwark. With sleight of hand, Des surreptitiously removes the envelope from the basket of the Honda, indignantly exclaiming "Oi! They ain't lived 'ere fer yonks!"
