    2020 anno horribilis

Have a great New Year all.
    2020 anno horribilis
Bush fires- Covid19, Disco still with no diagnosis and sons car crash. Mine was a lot better than many others and 2020 was considerably less painful then 2019 for me personally. I am grateful to have shared a little with you ladies and gents.

Happy New Year **** off 2020

    Actually, it’s annus horribilis.

But mine has been pretty good. I haven’t noticed much that would affect me negatively.

My year has not been as bad as I feared it would. I have had fewer visitors, and done less travel than planned, and my beard is about six inches longer (I decided not to cut it during the pandemic). My major (and continuing) concern has been my brother in Houston.

All the best for the coming year to all of you. I hope that it will be a lot better, but my expectation is that it will be "more of the same" for at least the majority of the year - I see no prospects of a substantial, sustained improvement until at least November, and I seriously doubt there will be an approach to pre-covid "normal" in my lifetime.

    Same here..

My workload increased with Covid control measures needing development and implementation to maintain operational approvals, there were a few more meetings etc than usual each week and compliance audits required.

Other than that there was a limitation only to some travel and the usual trips the Thailand never happened of course. Which freed up funds for projects 2020 anno horribilis

I’m now significantly fitter and healthier than I was last year and life is rolling along at a comfortable place.

I hope 2021 has opportunities for everyone.

I totally hate this year, trying to get stuff approved by the NDIS. And only leaving the house once to get food etc. And have to be careful not to bring the virus in to the house as this would put Mario in to hospital, and that would be the end of him going what his doctor told us. And our son in Japan couldn't come home to see his dad. As he left 2019 before Mario was diagnose with MSA. And worrying about him in Japan with this virus hitting the world. And now the number of cases over there are going up. It looks like we wont see him until the end of new year if we are lucky. Also our other son lost his job and couldn't get job keep as the place he worked at was only open for 7 months before this hit And now the virus is back in Vic. End of rant Heather
