    Dry Lake Racers....Lake Gairdner

    I'm thinking of going there for the 2021 Speedweek

    Has anyone here been there.

    I've driven past a couple of times, pulled into Mt Ives for a chat.

    Stopped there last school holidays for a night or 2. I found it quite interesting but the kids were happy to leave when we did. They complained about there being too many flies

    This is just confirmation that I will be attending Speed Week at Lake Gairdner , SA , 08-12Mar 2021.

    I will be leaving Bris/Gold Coast area on Fri05Mar 2021 on 3day/2 night cruise to arrive Sun07Mar 2021.

    This may be a bitumen cruise through to Pt Augusta/Iron Knob + some short dirt or possibly west through Queensland to Innamincka and down the Strezelecki Track to Lyndhurst and bitumen to Pt Augusta. Strezelecki is quite tame and in some places boulevard smooth.

    If anyone is interested in travelling down for this event and wants to tag along you are welcome. Just reply here to this thread. Cheers Dennis
