Is the ISS lost? It seems to be going round in circles.

If anyone wants any help deciphering just reply here, no need for pm.

Note Sat 23 although not as bright as Sunday duration is longer.....still very bright.....still brightest thing in sky , you should clearly see the ISS with good binoculars

Note Sun 24 at -3.9 magnitude (brightness) you will rarely see anything this bright in the sky.....brighter than saturday but you need to get up early
How does one work out the fly-by Brisbane time on Sat 23 Jan and Sunday?
    cheers

    Whoops..... Column 2 Seniors' moment...

Looks like it is approaching WA now. Looking at the earth's surface via the ISS app live feed at the moment.

If I have done this right, the first few seconds of the landfall over somewhere in WA (trying to upload a GIF file).

Edit: I cannot get the GIF file to work. Any advice?

    Edit #2: I make it Broke/Walpole WA?

international Space station Passing over Brisbane...

    here we go again....

nothing to do early friday evening?

the international space station will be making a brilliant 6 minute pass over Brisbane areas.

at -3.8 magnitude it is going to be extremely bright , get out your binoculars , if it's a clear night it should be worth the effort. If you have a telephoto attachment for your mobile phone , you may get a very clear photo.

at 1951hrs it will rise 10* above the horizon in the NW and for 6 mins will track across the sky to 15* above SE

there are many more passes this month and you can see them on heavensabove.com
