    Yes saw them but was looking for the Plastic Parrot you mentioned - the Victa CT-4. The Pilatus PC-9/A is not a Plastic Parrot.

    Air Force boys I knew called it that. Never heard of the Victa you mention until now.

    Fair enough. I guess my memory ain't what it was. These "boys" I spoke of were doing their pre-jet training in the mid 80s and spoke fondly of the PP. I always assumed it was the Pilatus. I stand corrected.
    BTW, only one of the four of them made it through to train on the Hornet. The rest washed out. Dunno if James actually got through.
