Well yes that 3rd holiday could be Foundation Day or Arrival Day or First Fleet Day - which is what it was originally used to mark and can still be respected as a day of mourning as well for those impacted.

ANZAC day is the perfect example of a day to reflect on the past in a respectful way whilst others just have the day off.

And about time we got back to the true tradition of most of our public holidays - the long weekend when we didn’t even know why we were having half of our public holidays.
