Homosexuals adopted the word to describe themselves. The word is not derogatory or offensive to homosexuals, so no need to change the name.

Got it in one Ian. If someone wishes to call themselves that then is their decision but don't expect the world to comply & follow suit.


Who are we to criticise anyone who wishes to call themselves a Happy Teapot for instance, it makes about as much sense as all the other crap we have heard about recently.

"I'm a happy teapot hear me shout

Here is my handle here is my spout etc etc etc."

Now someone will say "What you got against teapots Bee?"

I had the Monty Python "Bruce" sketch on in the car this morning. Used to love quoting some of that, but it'd probably get me a lifetime ban these days.
