All four disabled car parks in a community housing complex in Brisbane have been water blasted and the wheelchair symbol removed after the housing department acted on a complaint that argued the accessible spots discriminated against able-bodied people.

I would have thought under the law they would have to provide disable parking. I know when we had our business we had to provide 10 parking spaces & at least one disable parking space before getting approval for the extension to our building.

There are two spots at a place where I worked. In Ten years they didn't see one disabled person.

Exactly. If the spaces were officially removed then they will soon be officially reinstated.

Some business he disabled parking but rarely see a disabled customer so the staff use it.

Just because I was borne and raised in Balmain, it doesn't mean I am a Basket Weaver. By the way I'm only blind on Saturday Night. and never at work.
