    Slight aside: The so-called indigenous flag was created by an artist in 1972/3 to fly over the "tent embassy" in Canberra. Anyone flying it is supposed to pay a royalty to his estate. The tribes had no concept of flag, it is a modern, the opposite of right, construct, and is therefore meaningless. Looks pretty though, as Cathy Freeman demonstrated.

    It's preferrable for a population to be able to healthily debate, and be allowed to call a spade a spade, or even a shovel. Otherwise overarching censorship creeps in, and as has been proven many times in the past, bad things tend to follow.
