Let's get stuck into Loony toons shall we??

Daffy duck and sylvester the cat both mock people with speech impediments, as does Tweety bird.

Yosemite Sam has anger management issues and hates everyone and everything.

Elmer Fudd hunts, nuff said call PETA!!!

Pepe Le pew is a sexist bastard of a skunk, hell he's almost a rapist.

And Foghorn Leghorn (stereotypical southern white guy) is racist towards brown dogs (stereotypical black man).

This is why the world is going to ****!!! This is how easy it is to for adults with life experience to read an adgenda into childrens entertainment.

Who's the next target for these ****wits? The Wiggles??

Again,, if you have a problem with the way your Mods are working, Please PM Incisor.
Good grief. Did you read my reply in its entirety, or merely cherry pick?

I in no way said I had, or have, a problem with the moderation on this forum. Moderator Ian, and former moderators Mick Marsh or Bytemrk, would tell you that if I had then I would say so.

The number of mods is not the same as the number of mods that agree, in the same way that the number of scientists is not the same as the number of scientists that agree with the theory of AGW, which means that 'numbers of' IS irrelevant. Argument from authority is NOT the same as truth.

I'll say it again. There was a comment about 'arbitrarily' equalling 'randomly', which is true, but it was wrong in context, and I said so. I then pointed out that the possibly 'correct' definition "in context" was "autocratically", and you chose to take that as a criticism of the moderators, which in some way proves my point. You are all a little touchy about a word that was used in a post. I stated, clearly, that my comment in no way implied either agreement or disagreement with the use of the word or the comment itself, and was directed towards the member who took the word "arbitrarily" out of context, deliberately or otherwise.

Seriously, Pedro, lighten up, and read the replies you get thoroughly. I have boundless respect for the job you guys do.

However, if you insist, I will PM Inc. He hasn't had the pleasure for a while. I'll ask how he's going, etc..

Oh that's already been done because they aren't diverse enough.

In many parts of the USA you do not have to identify as a deer to get shot by hunters. I remember on one occasion about thirty years ago when I was over there I noted there was much discussion on the correct sort of clothes for hunting. One school of thought was camouflage, so you don't get spotted by the deer, the other was fluorescent orange to reduce the probability of getting shot. In some areas of Texas hunters outnumbered deer by about 3:1.

Same debate is a constant here as each new generation of hunter grows into his centrefire. Makes for a lively campfire discussion. I used to live and work in our bush for years and when the deer "roar season" came around in April/May I left the bush for safer urban areas for a few weeks to let the red-eyed urban warriors on a weeks leave go drink their beer, sight their new rifles in, brag about their ability and shoot the crap out of any movement.

Camo fluoro seems popular for those who know what it is like in our bush at this time of the year (or any other time for that matter).

On returning to the bush I was always dismayed to find their hunting camps strewn with broken glass and rubbish. I think some of them forgot a helicopter can carry rubbish in and out.
