    Mine was a 1938 14hp Model J 6-cylinder. Drove it from Calamvale (Brissie) to St Marys (Sydney) unregistered and without a licence in 1964 (I was 16). Used 5 gallons of oil. When Dad and I rebuilt the engine, we had the pistons expanded and fitted Cords oil control rings. That fixed the oil burning problem.
