    The Mae Wests that were around when I did my coxwain course were more likely to kill one, rather than save one. They restricted movement except with the current.

    Maybe they had enough cox's that year. Navy tended to be economical.... Unless you were of Flag rank of course.

    But don't you think you should? I'm sure you wouldn't wish to be spotted, but when you do I recommend you don't get one with a Zip.

    Velcro is ok but zippers are a no no, unless you have good Workers Comp.
