Yep! It appears to be quite common these days. In my recent travels, I noticed quite a few of the 'Large, Styled Beard Brigade' (as commonly seen in boutique breweries) driving Defenders.

It's the 'Hip Vehicle' of today.

I wonder how he would feel after the Defer door latches deprive him of the belt loops on his very expensive jeans?

Seeming as he is at the One and Only resort in the Wolgan Valley, I could pretty safely assure you that this man is the worker who drives the Defender. "He" is a passenger in his chauffeur driven Range Rover, but more than likely arrived at the resort in his helicopter as the road in is long, winding and dirt.
    Cheers

The Wolgan Valley resort has a couple of 110 defenders that they use to ferry guests around the resort in. I've seen them driving past our family farm many times.

Not dirt any more! They sealed the road to the resort a few years ago. At least one guest wrecked his Ferrari on the gravel road before that hahah.

And they brought power in to the valley! Luxury!
They laid a new optic fibre cable to the resort that the rest of lines in the valley were supposed to link in to. But that never happened, so they have super fast fibre and the rest of the properties in the valley have to use the old copper lines running next to the fibre.... grrr
