Add a complaint to your councilor about inaction by the council staff to deal with the obstruction stir the pot as well. That often gets a prompt response once the council CEO starts barking

cant talk to owner, the owner we cant contact, she owns all the shops at the front of this carpark entry. she's known to be a tight arse when it comes to maintainence of the properties she leases out

the vegetation is coming from private property , the council notify the owner and the owner has 28 days to comply, after 28 days inaction the council will send some one to clear.

Tins Slashing while your at it do the length of the foot path on Burwood highway from the Tecoma church up to Belgrave, and from Tecoma to the Doctors in main street Upwey for me . Council expects me to photograph and advise every problem house. I said get off their arse and take a walk themselves and see.

Righto. You do realise I'm nearly 70? But, Tecoma Church? Is that the Uniting, on the other side of the road? Why do you use that side, Mario, going to Belgrave?

The Tecoma to Upwey docs, is that from McNicol road, under the railway bridge? I'll look tomorrow. If nobody else will do it, then why shouldn't I? But I ain't as young as I was.

BTW, I'm in YarraRanges Shire, as you know. Happy with what you get for your rates? I'm nearly $3000 PA, and yet you cannot get a simple footpath cleared. Mum used a buggy, and she faced the same ****. It's a disgrace.
Mario, I will try tomorrow to do the weeds in your street. I have a bit on, as you know, but I'll get there. The rest may take a day or two. I intend to film this and put it on antisocial media. If I can work out how.

Don’t do that, they’ll nail you. Get someone else to do before and after pics/vids and write it up. The bonus is you don’t need to figure out how to do it yourself.

Would make a good story for a current affair or similar - 70 year old clears footpaths for the disabled because the council won't do it - that would shame them a bit...
