Its not only old Holdens getting good prices - relatively new ones do OK as well as evidenced by a recent auction where the supposed last Commodore sold for $750,000.

Future owners could have a problem as General Motors say the last Commodore is in a Museum and this car is not the last Commodore.
However this car does have the last Vin number so as a person who has a passing interest in collectable cars I would certainly go off the Vin but then the car in the Museum does have the GM providence in claiming to be the last.
I suspect that sometime in the future this will end up in a court case to determine which is the actual last.

it astonishes me of how much disposal income some of the youngsters they have to purchase some of those old cars and then some thot them up.
A lot of them take out huge loans to do it - I know a couple of young lads that owe $50K on their cars and they have only been working for a couple of years although I’m sure they’re are plenty that have Daddy’s help and never want for anything.Quote:
