i have a heart attack each time i see the invoice from the land rover mechanic.
Bloke I know had no symptoms other than that he felt shorter of breath than usual. No pain, numbness etc. But enzymes don't lie, and stents he now has. plays tennis now.
my old boss at work, didnt have a heart attack, had Pericarditis, which is inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart. he had no chest pain, no typical symptoms. only pain he had was in this upper arm and he described it as if he had torn a muscle, so much so that he went and saw a physio! it continued for a few more days, he went to the hosptal, after an hour they said it wasnt a heart attack, but heart related.
I don't know if you guys in Aust. see the same sort of TV advert we do here but here it is. NZ Heart Foundation TV advert.

I've just had my first cardiac rehab session - an assessment. BP 122/73, pulse 62, ECG normal. 6 min walking test - I settled into 4 km/hr which is what I do on the treadmill at home and could have kept it up for an hour. Pulse went up to 90 and stabilized there. BP went up to 152/84 after 6 min then recovered to 131/77 after 1 min rest. Apparently they classified me as 'fairly fit'!. Not "fit for my age", just" fairly fit". I didn't argue!
