    It's Home

Well, finally taken delivery of new Defender and it is magnificent. Hope it lives up to my expectations. They all come with white roof now it seems, as when ordered the Bonatti Grey was just that all over.
Power steering, coil springs, air, disc brakes, electric windows, central locking. A far cry from the Stage 1. And the first service is not for 10000 k's.
Am now busy kitting it out for desert trip in 3 weeks time.

    It's Home

    G'day Numpty
Nice looking ride, all you need to do now is visit Incisor at his shop and get an AULRO Sticker to keep that ARB one company, send him a PM and he will give you the details of where in caboolture shire to find him . He will be only too happy to see a sticker on such a swarve bit of kit, then all of us AULROites in the district will recognise you .

    Thanks Mar Tyn.
They look surprisingly familiar ( the photos I mean)
Vehicle now has drawer and shelf in the back and the rear seats have been removed and water tank installed. Some modification has to be done to make false floor from Stage 1 to fit because the rear door linings encroach on space.
Not looking forward to battery mods as there is not much room in there for the second one, and only three weeks to go!!!

Just curious about the white roof... I'd heard that UK built come with white and south african built come colour coded... where's yours built?
