Actually there's no roundabout there at all. They could have made a large one there to do a better job than the very expensive flyover (for Wanneroo Road users only) and making all the east/west traffic continue to stop at lights. Complete and utter mess, a huge waste of money and decent land.
But no doubt the gurus (?) are happy chappies.

So in a "not a cash grab" move the NSW Govt is extending the hours of their outsourced speed camera fleet to do some more life saving......
The unmarked one was parked in between two semi trailers at the end of our street the other day giving motorists a visible warning of approximately 25 metres

Mobile speed cameras: NSW, Sydney, fines, roads, revenue, cars

Maybe the truck drivers could help me with this one.
Around the Gulf we have at just random places what looks like a single camera on top of a pole with a solar panel.
What are these? They are not speed cameras because I go wizzing past them above the speed limit all the time & don't get tickets/fines.
So, I thought maybe they have something to do with trucks?
Next time the rivers are crossable I will take a picture of one.
There is one east of Gregory Downs & another about 20k South of Burketown.

C'mon, mate. They're a 'Traffic Control Camera'. You know, to prevent traffic congestion!

Suppose the coppers were looking for a particular vehicle that might have been on one of those roads, pretty easy to download the camera images. we have them on the Barton Hwy heading into Canberra as well, supposedly to check on road conditions.

There is one on the Warrego highway between Gatton and Helidon IIRC, I think it might be for ANPR Automatic Number Plate Recognition?

It's the forward scout for the invasion. Safe-T-Cam will be next. I'm glad I'm out of it.

Although this features SA, the same applies to all states.

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

    Ticket turned up. 98 in a 90 (alleged 96). $100 and no points. It's a fair cop.
