I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Yes, John Rothwell. He started off in a small rented yard in a suburb of Perth building cray fishing boats out of aluminium. This was in the mid 1970's while I was still involved with the offshore rig tenders. I lived in Albany on the south coast of WA and was active with the local volunteer sea rescue group. We had an aluminium boat built by him, fitted with one of those Cat 3208 engines that you mentioned elsewhere.
Part of the contract was that myself, and ONLY myself, was to be directly involved with John building the boat. We got on really well and I helped him out with some things unrelated while he was still trying to stay in business. Nothing wrong with his boats, but in my experience it is NOT the material to use for a pleasure boat of any bigger size. Ok for a "tinny" run about but not some thing to live aboard.
I often regret not keeping in touch as his business grew, but I got side-lined with helicopters and blew it!![]()
I've never met the man, but you and I have a mutual friend with all the low down.
