I'm in North East Vic 4bee.

A lot of locals are hunters so it'll be interesting to see these city types reactions when the colder weather sets in. There'll be camo dressed guys putting firearms in and out of cars, unloading freshly taken venison in driveways etc. I guess the 000 number will get a call or three.

Has or Had? That sure is a lot of overkill to water one's garden. The Garden Nursery folk prob said "Make sure you keep the water up to them initially, but I doubt they meant 40".

That'll certainly give them the ****s. The only gun a lot would have seen in their lives would have been on TV or a sideshow shooting Gallery but I reckon they are on the wain these days as for Cammo that's for U.S. Mass Shootings.

Strung up dead meat? Pin a sign on the carcase "this could be you if you ring the cops. Comprende?"

"Welcome to Rural Australia townies. Don't like it? Then **** off back from whence you came"

    Job done.

I have experience of their townieness.

In earlier times – a couple of middle aged lady tourists saw me carrying a rifle into the house after a hunting trip. Well......you should have heard the screaming and seen the running........ it took their respective husbands quite some time to settle them down.

000 was rung on me once by a visiting townie and the local cop turned up in a bit of a flap. Apparently I was torturing a fox with a rifle and a hunting dog and the fox was screaming in pain. I had a 12 week old gun dog pup, a cap gun and a tanned fox skin. We had a good laugh......
