    Soldier On - Mural

Thought I’d share something my wife has been working on for Soldier On. It’s her first attempt at anything near this size.

Our local Soldier On secretes some dollars for material amd asked the bride if she could knock something up.....

Re-post from her Facebook page......oh she is available for any commission work Soldier On - Mural

Since Christmas I have been working on this little project, approx. 15m wide by 4 to 5m high (Massive project, well for me anyway). It was done for a company called Soldier On they offer support services for veterans. They wanted to brighten the space up, with a dedicated theme to them. Hope I achieved this, for you.
I would like to make a special thanks to Jesse Raine, Kay Edwards, Kay Adams and Katie Chisholm for their exception support and painting talents. Thanks you very much, it was great working with you all. Xx

That looks great! I can never understand how they get the picture so perfect. Although my painting ability goes as far as stick figures.Soldier On - Mural

Awesome stuff, the bugler with the poppy field in the background is particularly moving.

    Me too.
Although I've recently found that if you draw 2 stick figures slightly offset to each other, you get a proper person! And for bonus art skills, if you make the stick lines further apart, you can draw a fat person!

It really brings home how big the work is when you see her on the scaffold. Fantastic job! I imagine you are super proud of her!

Yep proud, and now she has her weekends back.

Not sure if she logged total hours.

Either way there is a Brewery across the road.......good chance for me to taste a beer or two than poke my head in and check on progress.

Hats off the your wife, a great job, and well appreciated by the veteran community as well, I'd say.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
