I have a set from Takla. They are great. Comfortable, waterproof and fit very well. Just make sure you go for the synthetic ones not the canvas.

    Hi Dobbo,

I don't think that they are a "bit pricy" at all. I reckon they are unjustifiably expensive .

In my quest to find waterproof covers, that is one place to cross off the list!

I saw some on a D2 the other week at a horse event. Sheepskin custom made I'd prefer waterproof though. I might look at custom made wetsuit ones. Naturally it will be cheaper with quantity. Anyone interested put your name on the list below. I'm going for a dark colour probably black

    seat covers

I looked into seat covers for my Disco II a couple of years ago and they were all around $400 for the front and about the same for the rear. I think a bit over priced, ended up buying a cheap set for the front from auotobarn. The biggest problem with the disco is the outside edge of the seat gets worn fairly easily from sliding in and out of them. I have been thinking about buying a sewing machine and making my own canvas ones. As the wife says though " when will you find time to do that".

My wifes friend makes horse rugs and such, I'm enquiring if she'd be interested into making some as I said most likely black, waterproof type material.

I'll get back to you all shortly with the reply.

    covers for sale

I have some tailor made D2 water, sand, mud and everything proof seat covers for sale. Front and rear. They are made out of a military grade material that will hold water in a pool without leaking, ever. They really are the best and I am only selling due to me not having the d2 anymore. I was hoping they would fit my defender but no they didn't. They are black in colour and in as new condition. They cost nearly $800 but I could sell them for $325.

I'd love to get them but if I got anymore Land Rover accessories or vehicles this month water wouldn't be pooling in them, my blood would. If you don't sell them inthe next few weeks give me a shout.
