Psst want a cheap holiday in Broome? Fujiwhara Effect

Honestly tried to get accomodation and those half price airfares to Broome- failed. I wonder if some cheap ones might be off loaded soon?

Tropical Cyclone Seroja, currently sitting several hundred kilometres north-west of Broome, was named earlier this week and is tracking south-west over open waters.
Meanwhile, a second tropical low has now formed nearby, expected to strengthen to cyclone intensity as early as tomorrow.
With the two systems on path to interact with each other, a phenomenon known as the Fujiwhara Effect will likely occur.

Go to Windy: Wind map & weather forecast to see this effect modeled.

Quite a nice little dance they get up to until one absorbs the other. In the bottom right you can click between models - ECMWF or GFS or ICON.

Broome has been booked out for 9 months + just with intrastate tourists. I don't know why they introduced the half price interstate fares as I doubt you would able to find any accommodation. Particularly now heading in to the winter peak again.

If a double was good, try a triple. Three cyclones or tropical lows off North West WA now

Cyclone Seroja brewing off WA coast joined by two tropical lows
