    Sorry to hear, I knew Geoff , he worked for my Dad in the Forests Commission,

    here he is on the left working out how to recover my Landy after I rolled it at Toolangi.

    Very sad day. A true gentleman, legend of the sport and one of our most under-rated drivers. His Grunter Datsun 1600 was the stuff of legend.

    There is very little time to be gained from going over the top at speed as once you hit the bottom you're hard on the brakes for a tight left hander and a bit of twisty stuff that you can't carry a lot of speed through anyway.
