A strange occurance in the hills...

This occured a few years ago. I was out on the hills. I'd come over two heights and was sitting down on my third having some tea and sandwiches before turning and hitting the homeward leg. It was a bright sunny day (yep we do get them occasionally) but there was a bitterly cold north wind blowing. I was just finishing the victuals when I noticed a couple, who were a few years older than me, come up over the brow and onto the summit. They had come up to this height from below which was a fairly steep pull. Clearly it was a one peak job. They headed to my left to the trig pillar and passed out of my vision and out of my mind. I finished packing and turned to head back with the heartening thought that the wind would be at my back unlike earlier when I was hacking in to it.
I had to pass the trig station on my way and there were the couple...naked. Yep absolutely starkers. Don't forget the aforementioned strong north wind. I had my hood up and a wooly hat on. Needless to say I was intrigued by the spectacle. From what I could gather they were going to photograph each other at the trig station, in the nude. Intrigued as I was I left them to it and was continuing on my way when the woman noticed me and called me over making hand signals. So over I went.
Seems from an early age they climbed local heights when on holiday and celebrated by taking a nude photograph of themselves at the highest point. Anyway the woman asked me if I would do the honours and take one of the two of them together at the trig station. Naturally enough I agreed. I did my duty then headed on my merry way.
Now all I will say about this incident is that the cold north wind was not doing the husband any favours ().The woman on the other hand, well if she had been a Land Rover I'd be eulogising over the great condition of the chassis, bodywork and suspension .
Anytime I am up there on a bright sunny day and I pass the trig station the incident always springs to mind. Funnily enough if I am up on a wet day it never occurs to me.

Your story, reminded me of the time a few years back I was driving the old 110 to a favorite section of a small river over here for some summer cicada hatch trout fishing action. Bright summers day. Cicadas out in full blast. Warm breeze coming up the valley. Nice drive and anticipating some good aggressively rising trout to the cicada fly. I had about ten to fifteen minutes to travel to get to the fishing hole when all of a sudden and with little warning a large and fast Japanese bike overtook me. Fast. It was one of those that had the formed seat where the pillion sits up higher than the rider. Anyway, I remember the pillion was a well proportioned young lady who was leaning over rider and holding on very closely and was wearing very well fitted full biker leathers. I guess the rider was too but I cannot recall much else. "Heh! Not much left to the imagination" I thought as they roared off ahead of me.

They were gone and I started thinking of fishing again for the ten minutes or so before I reached the turn-off to the fishing spot. The off-road track that led to it went through an overgrown thicket of lupins, blackberry and other overhanging shrubbery just overgrown enough to wipe the sides of the 110 generously. You may have heard the saying "good roads lead to bad fishing". That was written for such spots as this. The old 110 was already all scratched up from pushing through such tracks and I especially liked this fishing spot as it was hard to get to, had some great reaches of deep water under overhanging trees - great for cicadas and I usually always had it to myself. Not this time. As I was breathing the air sweet with the smell of lupins and river, I headed over a slight rise to be greeted by the sight of the bike and tight biker leather pants struggling to be pulled back into place by both rider and pillion. "Heh! Nothing to imagine there" I laughed as they both staggered around trying to salvage a modicum of modesty as they tilted towards the lupins ahead of me.

I continued past the bike and heard laughter and a bit of a shriek from the shrubbery beside the track and arrived at my location. As I was tying the first dry fly onto the tippet that trip I mentally dubbed the fishing spot 'Interruptus'. Caught more than a few trout rising that afternoon coming to the cicada fly and have always tried to be quiet idling through that overhanging shrubbery since.

My Rotty chased a Copper & a Nurse out of the long grass beside the river one time!
I was laughing so hard it was difficult to call the dog off.

    Hi ,
Leisurely paddles in a kayak have revealed the odd hanky panky on the river banky.
    Cheers

She probably got dressed in the dark, and put her little sister's clothes on by mistake.

Years ago,in another life I used to do a lot of domestic refrigeration repairs.

So we got a call to go to this place, they said the street number is painted on a 44 gallon drum out the front just drive down the dirt track,it leads to our place.

So I get there, park the van and get out and notice everyone seems to be starkers.Couldn’t believe my eyes

    Anyway,yes,it’s a nudist colony,full of European tourists.
Mum,Dad,and the kids all in their birthday suits, heaps of them.

Some of the young ladies were definitely very pleasing to the eye......

Anyway, did a few jobs there before the council eventually closed it.

Another one comes to mind, when we were commissioning Jupiters Casino, doing stairwell pressurisation tests with the local fire brigade and council inspectors,we sprang a couple at it in a stairwell. They bolted pretty quickly.

On holidays in Indonesia,we went on a trip to see Mt Bromo I think it was called.Left the motel before dawn to see the sunrise.
It was foggy that day,so not much of a sunrise,so got back to the coach early,we were the first back.
And there was the coach driver,at it with a local girl in the back seat
They were both pretty embarrassed, pulling their clothes on....

All fun and games, and a laugh.
