Personally, I usually use "Landrover" - saves keystrokes!
I use Rags & degreaser Land Rover

At one stage is used to be Land on one line and Rover on the next line with a Z joining them - like this sign in the next Shannons auction. I have seen it like this on a number of old workshop manuals and old series emblems - but also on modern landies as well.

Is it 'Landie' or 'Landy'? 'Rangey' or 'Rangie'?

Does it matter - me thinks some people have too much time on their hands

Yes and that "Z" or I prefer "lightning bolt" is the hyphen in Land-Rover.

It was a car built after the war (as everybody probably knows) by the rover company. So Land Rover would be my bet. At some point it became it's own brand (after the BMW debacle and end of Rover as a company) and it could have become a single word but I guess they did not do that

    Cheers,
