We've had Roomba's for years mainly hard surface floors tile/timber we keep them clean I remove hair from brushes regularly and replace batteries/ parts from ebay. Still going strong years later
Interesting around battery life - our place is smaller than yours but I have had it out for a couple of hours at a time when mapping. The mapping is one of the things I don't like - take ages and I've had the maps just vanish from the app twice - although I think the last firmware update has fixed this. Once you do have a good map saved, just break up the cleaning schedule so it vacuums say rooms a, b and c in the morning and the others in the arvo, or alternate days on the scheduler so it does part of the house each day. Our regular daily clean only takes 45 minutes and the mopping with a double run over everything takes around 90 minutes and does a bit more than the daily vacuum.
Oh - if you don't like the noise of the vac, you'll hate the power mop attachment - we only run that when we're outside or going somewhere. You probably wouldn't enjoy having that running around your feet while you're working. [bigwhistle]
