Definitely coming into summer - had a visitor yesterday; about two metres long and 4cm across, and pale brown. Eastern Brown I think.

Yep, JD, our reptiles are active. There was a commotion amongst several bird species, out the back of the house, a minute ago and on investigation, I saw a young Lace Monitor, probably 2' long, up the top of one of the Grey Gums. Probably after bird's eggs.
The Lorikeets were giving him a particularly hard time.
We don’t generally get humidity here of any concern - unless a NW cyclone brings it down.
Currently 15% RH

Got one of them (Blast Furnace) here too [emoji41]
The promised rain had so far failed to arrive, so we booked a water truck for next week.
Murphy's Law being infallible, it has just started raining. I won't be cancelling the water truck though. The rain is a bonus. More is better.
Very strange!
Last week we had dark clouds, high humidity & several showers of rain.
It is only September, we usually don't get any rain at all until late October at best & then it is proper storms.
Also we have had 3 Morning Glories (no, not that!), 1 in August & 2 this month, never seen one before October in 30 odd years here.
Usually the Dry here is just that, DRY. The Wet could be anything, the only guarantee is bloody HOT.
Funny weather so far.
