The only problem is, to sterilise the vehicle properly they have to douse it in alcohol and set it alight.

    Any other recommendations?
We have a camper trailer needs to go to a person in lockdown in the Cambelltown area.
I'll hit the phones tomorrow. Any suggestions appreciated.
Just to follow up, I tracked down Tilta Transport in Brisbane, who specialise in moving caravans and campers.
They were recommended by Jawa Caravans at Caboolture, who use them a lot.
Tilta's Troy has quoted $880 Brisbane to Cambelltown, which is less than other numbers I have heard. Fully insured.
    So that is looking good.

Why waste alcohol? I use Zoono at work once a month. Pretty good as it is non toxic and seems to have enough evidence. Add my 4 litre bottle of it into a little spray bottle used once a month is not making the company much money as it goes a long way I brought 8 litres!

We use it in our car/Disco before it comes back from work

A micro biologist I chatted with was a bit skeptical but I know she is using it Zoono Global – Next Level Germ Protection.

Why does the vehicle need sanitizing, when people are allowed to have physical contact across the plastic barriers, marking the Queensland-NSW border?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

So I should stop slopping that expensive red label 33 OP Bundy around in my 130 every time I pull in the driveway?. Convenient that there a bottle beside the seat.

I need to move a rolling chassis to Ballarat from Canberra for a restoration. Was going to tow it down on a car trailer but Covid border restrictions have put that on hold. I have rung all the local car carriers and non are interested if the vehicle does not start. One did recommend a local tow company who have said they would take it on a tilt tray for $2300 all up. Now the normal price on a carrier is about $1200 from Melbourne to Canberra, maybe cheaper as a back load, so the quoted $2300 on a tilt tray is a lot more but then it is the only load they will have.

So any thoughts on this as I would obviously prefer to pay the least amount possible - also some aspects of this problem have been discussed in this thread so any updated thoughts would also be appreciated.

    Thanks

I once got a Daihatsu Rocky that had failed to proceed in Broken Hill back to Dubbo on general freight, they loaded it with a forklift and I think it came back inside a tautliner. Might be worth asking some freight companies if you can get it delivered to a yard with a trailer at each end.

Thanks Tote - you highlight what I dont like about using general fright - the forklift - it will just cause too much damage and run the risk of the front end falling off.

No needs to go on and off on its own wheels.

    Cheers
