WHO issues emergency use listing for eighth COVID-19 vaccine

NOT being a 'mRNA' style gene therapy, it would appeal to "THESE-Vaccines" hesitant", folk who trust a traditional formulation.
Incidently, the FDA wants to drag it's feet on a FOI request, wanting 55 years to get through the required papers.... Same papers it was able to use in granting Pfizer a EUA in a matter of months.

And we still haven't been told how much Australia agreed to pay Pfizer per jab.

Just as a matter of interest, what makes you think mRNA vaccines have anything to do with gene therapy? You do understand how they actually work, I presume? And understand the role of messenger RNA in every cell in your body, I presume?

While cost per jab doesn’t seem to be listed the first paragraph here - Australia’s vaccine agreements | Australian Government Department of Health - shows we’re spending $8B on vaccines so I don’t see why it’s so important to know what each jab costs to be honest. Also a quick Google will show that a Pfizer vax is averaging $16.25 US per dose around the world so what else do you need to know - this link is quite handy - Let Me Google That

And as mentioned, big face plant saying that mRNA vaccines are gene therapy - maybe look up on how that works and using websites other than face plant for your daily does of BS before making comments like that.

An interesting observation, we were in Canberra shopping for a formal dress for youngest daughter on the weekend. Being pretty disinterested in standing in the premises of clothing purveyors, I waited outside while the girls did the shopping. A casual observation of the people using QR codes to check into the stores in the mall indicated that the compliance rate was running at about 40%. The ACT seems to be a fair bit less millitant about enforcing QR check-ins than NSW but I haven't been to a mall in NSW for about a year either so that may not be entirely accurate.

Every store here that isn't "Essential" and can only have vaccinated people attend has to have a Covid marshal at the front door checking Vaccination certificates and ensuring check in to keep the unvaccinated out - so far I've seen 100% compliance with this. At supermarkets and service stations - bugger all - was grabbing a coffee from a Coles Express this morning and I was the only one of the 4 who walked through the door bothering to check in when I was there. I'm sure this will change in time though.
