I have personally have no issue with WA getting a reduced allocation whilst there was higher immediate demand in "hotspot" states. What I do take issue with is the PM and NSW Premier deriding us for "living in a cave" whilst our vaccination rates are behind NSW. We're behind NSW as we had some of our allocation redirected to them!Quote:

Even with some states getting extra allocations……..there now seems to be flood of Pfizer in SEQ.
I was booked for 1st Oct but now getting 1st jab next week through a pop up clinic at the school my youngest attends.

Wasn’t the NSW outbreak declared a National Emergency (back when they had less than 140 cases a day).
Thanks to the extra doses now they can talk about opening up again at 1400 cases a day.
About time VIC declared a Global Emergency. [emoji48]
In all seriousness - of course extra doses needed to go to NSW at the time. Sadly we will need twice as many extra doses in VIC rolled out quick smart to avoid the outbreak here overwhelming the hospital system.
All indicators are the VIC outbreak will have a lot more cases and run a lot longer than NSW if we don’t catch up soon with the vaccine roll out to bring the rate of reproduction back down closer to 1 than 2.

No doubt there have been some behind the scenes, but not public brawling.
Have been quite happy with our SA Govt's performance despite some criticisms especially about lock downs happening too quickly, which will hold Steve in good stead come election time. Proof of the pudding stuff.
IMHO we don't have the Eastern Seaboard egos to compete with either.
BUT, it still could be early days etc.
