Thread: "meeting deadlines " a segment on ABC foreign correspondent

It is tough. Working 15-20ish hours a day is no fun after a week or more. The Korean and Japanese habit of working to death is crook! I am not a fan of sweat shops any where either.

More than a few delivery drivers are moving on Sunday around here! Ditto for many Trucks of course.

Much of it is unseen of course. Farmers - self employees, contractors or even silly business owners can put a lot of hours in above and beyond industrial awards which only cover employees.

Lets not discuss those silly sailors

Amazon paying $108 for 4 hours & you have to supply the car, fuel, insurance, super etc etc.

No wonder Bozo can afford to go to space.

I only have to look at the couriers I deal with how they are on stinking hot days rushing to finish their runs but Those guys in South Korea in hilly terrain, in the humid heat , lack of being able to park, the work long days and some dying for exhaustion.

I used to see the couriers in Tokyo and admire the way that they ran to and from their vehicles - but it was probably necessary to keep to their schedules.

I said no to a lawyer a few hours ago. It was not for the lawyer it was for the children of.

Got back from a ride and figured another possible way to say yes. Saying no is required as we are at breaking point. Saying no to people trying to protect themselves or their families is incredibly difficult.

Not suggesting any specific industry or type are doing impossible hours or not. Except Karen or Ken- they are lazy loud mouths
