The Avatar gives it away ( a bit wankey, should change it )
Joind in '87 Royal Australian Engineers, as a chocko, stuffed around a bit, did some full time stints, been posted ( as an engineer! ) to Div HQ and Chooks ( signals ) now just enjoying the twilight years in a quiet little unit of Hydrographic surveyors.
Hey Fennian, were you at 1 coy? Did you know Julian Hall? How about a guy called David Harding or Brendon Paddison?
Damo,
I knew a Justin Hall, big unit, blond hair - real hard B*stard!
Don't know the other two though, I wasn't there for long enough (unfortunately). It was about 96 though.
Love the Avatar mate, not wanky at all![]()
Would love to go back in, I need it!! I'm fading away to a block of flats![]()
I knoew that there were a lot of ex service guys on here, but not this many !!!!
all I can claim is being a AAFC instructor, nothing more.

I had a SIIA back in my day in the RAN. I had a secondment posting to the JB for a given task. She was an ex RORO used for Training/Hospital Ship and Transport Carrier. Fortunately I was on a leg back with a hold full of Landies. Fortunately a few beers and organising a Joy Flight in an Iriquoi later I had plenty of parts ordered for nicks. All Delivered.
Who says we cant work together.
Cheers
