I made a choice and married the girl instead, I would have liked to of served though

No complaints though - have thought about going ARES again, too fat and unfit at the moment

Friend in TPT at Enoggera said they have done drivers courses at Rover Park!! Lucky buggers

Most of my time was a grunt & sect. comm with A Coy (go the PIG), then came to Kelvin Grove when I moved to Brissy.

i a fitter armourer with admin coy tech support platoon, i have a nice workshop in enoggera

a coy is now caboolture and yandina

Nice. Yeah knew of the changes. I was in when we moved to Yandina from Nambour, but in Sydney when the multi user depot thing at Caboolture came to be.

I used to go to the Officers Mess and other joints with my old man when I was a weener, then I ended up there later on. You're right about nothing there now - except Uni stuff and legoland estate.

(You know the tune) memories.....like the corner of......etc etc.

I did 4 years with 49RQR special conditions unit. For the guys who couldnt be weekend warriors ringers,railway workers and others from the bush plus quite a few public servants like police fireman etc. I also did some full time servioce with 8/9 RAR at Enogera. I loved it and should have gone fulltime.
