I havent, but its interesting so many Landy owners have.I thought you guys would hate the things, mate and his missus were both mechanics in the forces and they detest them.

I was mostly on M113A1's so I didn't actually drive in Landies too much.

I should have mentioned the only blot on my career was for driving a series landy upside down on the bombing range.
We put it back on its feet, re attached the drivers door and reported in. Put on a charge and got done for "driving a vehicle so as to cause damage to it". Fine $20.

Ah, those were the days.

Cricky you had it easy I had a couple of instances which I will not mention that got me around a $300.00 fine and a few days ROP's.
It wasn't doing anything illegal either just bad luck.

charged nine times

found not guilty six times

lost count have many extras i got for small things

while on exercise and after fixing a radiator i couldn't see the problem with taking a 110 on a 180km test drive to buy an ice cream, i wished the ASM didn't had seen the funny side umm

20 years in RAEME as a radio/radar tech. Finished in 1994.

Joined 1983 Army Apprentice Electronics Technician, 38th Class.
Still serving in RAEME although it's not so much fun anymore

Time for change soon.

Might join the Defence Dept as a public servant.

If that gets too hard I'll join the RAAF.

Might have served or been in a wksp with you guys
