Funny but true - after it stopped I said to my wife "that was a 6".

How would I know? I lived in Tokyo for 9 years.

Yep, you'd have a good handle on it.

News over here is showing some building damage in Melb. Old facades would have been rocked. What is the earthquake build code like over there?

If it's any consolation we didn't feel it over here in WA, although it was probably stopped at the border because it hadn't properly filled out its "G2G".

It was just a shiver caused by the passing cold front.
Fortunately no one was injured. Who would have thought Covid would have saved lives, particularly in Chapel Street?

I was in my car in the garage and had just pressed the go button to reset the BMS after my battery had been showing signs of being a bit sad and the car started to rock. My first thought was, surely the BMS reset is not messing with the suspension!!!

I reckon it lasted about 10 to 15 seconds.

    6 on Richter scale.

I reckon it lasted about 10 to 15 seconds.
That is usually followed by what is believed to be the Pause Duration before the roof caves in.

If I remember correctly, last time ScoMo visited the States, the country caught fire. Maybe I should take this to the conspiracy thread.
Between the eruptioning volcano overseas and domestic earthquake, the world is falling apart. Is it still under warranty.
