And we still didn't use it !!!
I was going to just reverse out of there but then I'd give the lockers game away .

Thanks everyone who helped me get out of that little hole. I've learnt my lesson now:

I'll not be letting anyone past me now.

Thats better. I would of thought you had learnt that 4WD's are not nice by now. The media keeps reminding us of how we are supposed to behave

I think the bank gave way on him.
    He drove into it...........

Did the pulley itself brake or was it the bearing?
First it screamed, then it seized. then I freed it (WD) and it ran till it spat the bearings, then it ran for a bit on the bolt - till I cut the belt = bearing totally gone & pulley stuffed

    Trip Stats :

    1831 km
    224.92 L of diesel........ = 12.28 L/100km (23 m/g) @ av 142.7c/L

The trip "uphill" to Cowra was marginally more economical
    (11.2 vs 11.75 L/100km)
than the "downhill" run back to Melb - even without the A/C connected on the way back .......... difference could be fuel additive, I forgot to tip it in on the way back and didn't notice a headwind .....I'll watch that now to see.

Cowra to Cowra including the off road was 14.27 L/100km ..........

Oh Btw, Thanks again for the great trip Ace, And thank you for letting us all make use of your "yard" perhaps i can return the favour some time if you ever want to take a trip to stockton beach

Also it was great to meet a few more people from here, although i dont know how many names i will remember heheheheh we had a great group of people with us, although the taste of some with regards to the japanese 4wds has to be questioned

But i gota say it made my weekend to see a disco pulling out a stuck cruiser! Definetly a highlight of the weekend for me hahahaha

Anybody know if we can create an "ACES BBQ No 9?" album under the NSW of trips and meets, otherwise the photos will tend to get lost as time goes on.
