No worries mate, we will get him sorted. After a day in the mud with us he will be on the plane to england cueing up outside the factory to get a landy.

Broken vacume line. My fault when doing the other repairs. I can't get the joiner out of the pipes so will have to cut them and then I have the problem of the pipe being 2 cm to short. I'm hoping to try a couple of parts places to get a new joiner or pipe before the weekend. It also means my brake booster line is only temporary fix at the moment as thats the line I have to cut. Might even try and get a mettal block instead of the plastic jobbie like in a fish tank.

Sorry Matt, I was wanting to come up on the Sunday, but family duties have got in the way .

I'll be there on the weekend!!! Sorry to leave it till the last minute to let you know, it just seemed like everything kept getting in the way! But I've got my priorities sorted!

I hope you don't mind my sister tagging along, she'll be passengering in my rangie. She's a geology nut and wouldn't say no to a chance to check out Lithgow's rocks... And she's into Landies!

I have a profile bar on the front held on with high tensile bolts, hasn't let me down for recoveries yet! So all will be good! But I only have a couple of snatch straps and a few shackles (all I've needed so far!).

Just a couple of questions Re: cooking, are we able to have little fires (near our vehicles) to boil the billy, cook steak etc? And what's the situation ammenity wise?

ace will have the bbq going for your steaks......
we use his toilet....byo rolls........
there will be a campfire going at night......though it might be too big for the billy....
i use a gas stove.......the simple little portable cartridge type.....
the rest is camping in the bush......

No worries Broonski, no problem on the short notice, people can ring me the night before and let me know if thats when they find out, its not like i need to get food or anything and there is no shortage of space, as for your sister she is more than welcome.

Yabbie is obvioulsy unable to make it so we will have to have a beer on his behalf, and Dobbo the softy is under the thumb so he wont be coming.

Bushie- you mentioned you might be able to make it. Any news? If you dont know yet and wont find out till the last minute message me, i will check my messages and this thread the on friday night and saturday morning.

If for some reason people have to pull out and cant make it dont post on the forum ast say 8, please give me a ring so we know not to wait for you, or if you are going to be late cause something came up ring me and i will give directions to where we will be and once in the bush you can track us down on UHF.
