I have checked settings for browser and the "Don't enable HTTPS-Only Mode" is checked.
It seems that somehow your browser is set to only access secure sites (https......) as opposed to unsecured sites like BOM (http...............).

"Don't enable HTTPS-Only Mode" is a bit ambiguous, is that exactly how it's worded?

Seems like you're in HTTPS mode only.

Running Firefox, which is up to date. Cookies and history clear on close.

Tried clearing all cached data still no good. Tried putting address in exceptions, also no good.

    I'm out of ideas.

I have Weatherzone on my phone, might just use it on PC as well.

Yep, that's exactly how it is worded.

The other two options under that heading are:

"Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all windows", and
"Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in private windows only"

I can't really help further. I run safari with private browsing on all the time, cookies enabled. Suits me because I end up with very little garbage in 'data' and virtually no cross tracking.

Philosophical thing............. I don't believe in supplying data to companies who on sell it when I would be paying for the data transfer.

Pretty sure that's where your prob is though.

With firefox, goto http://aboutreferences#privacy and down the bottom of the page, there is an option for "HTTPS only mode". Disable this.

Of course the link stuffed up because it auto inserted a smiley. Goto Firefox's Settings -> Privacy & Security and the HTTPS only mode is at the bottom of the page.
