It often is stated there were two sharks in these near shore attacks being the dorsal and tail fin of one very large shark.

Yes. Eyewitness accounts are usually only as reliable as their level of anxiety. And that's one big shark.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Yep these November visitors 4.5m+ are monsters. We swim regularly at Leighton in that exact location through summer as do dozens of others. It’s clear sand bottom stretch of beach and very shallow hence ideal swimming and feeling of safety.

There is no safety in those shallows however.

The shark alarms had been going off for past few weeks up and down the metro area and we decided on Friday to give Leighton a miss.

Remember that the shark mitigation alert system here works only with tagged sharks that set off receivers off the beaches. The shark on Saturday set set off no alarms hence the inherent challenge for WA taxpayers of tagging every shark in the ocean.

GGot to “love “ eye witness accounts.

ask a person the length of the car they drive every day , uh?

ask a person the length of the shark , centimetre perfect, apology to Dennis.
