Do you have a panel beaters' supplier, locally, Lionel?
Hello All,
When I disassembled my 1993 Defender 110 tray-back ute - Snowy's wheel arch brows - flares, I did not know that the plastic rivets that hold the flares on can be reused - if the central pin can be found and reinstalled.
Because I had no dimensions to go off, I ordered a set of 10 branded after-market parts online. Armed with these dimensions I thought I could get the remaining 22 or so plastic rivets locally. I went to one of the local-chain parts suppliers. They did not have 22 available in stock. Plus, they were going to charge me $1.94 each. I asked for 26 to include some spares. That would have cost me $50.44.
Since I now have the dimensions I just bought 50 of the plastic rivets online at the grand price of $9.69 for a pack of 50, including postage. Just a wee bit of difference in price between supporting local shops and an online supplier - supposedly based in Sydney.
The dimensions are: for 6 mm diameter hole; Head diameter 15 mm, Pin reach 12 mm
Kind regards
Lionel

Hello Colin,
The link you kindly provided describes the breakdown of the 625 plastic rivets and the kit includes a removal tool.
For the original (?) pin type flare plastic rivets that Snowy came with I used an engineer's scribe to push the pins through. I then used the "removal tool" to hook the body of the plastic rivet out.
Kind regards
Lionel
