    An aid to fueling up

I was filling up the Puma in the shed today. The filling side was in the shadow as the overhead light was above the Puma. I was holding a little torch to see when the diesel hit the required amount. I thought wouldn't it be useful if manufacturers put a little LED in the fuel filler recess that would let you see how near to the neck the fuel was. Just a thought. How about it Mr Ineos for the Grenadier?

You dont really need it as the petrol pump hand pieces, have an automatic stop when the nozzle is covered by liquid.

I dont think that having an electric wire/connection near a fuelling point would pass the safety check.

Why don't you install a light in the proper place in the shed so as you can see what you are doing.

I usually hold a flash light but as it would, the battery died! Owing to the space limitations if I installed a wall light I'd be in my own shadow. It is not a big deal but just an idea that came to me.

You could always drill a hole in the panel above, fit a flush mount LED in there and a waterproof push button switch.

    If you so desired.
