    G Day from the USA

    Hi Everyone,

Well finally despite my best efforts to aviod the trip the boss finally got me to the states

Currently in Cincinnatti for 2 weeks then off to Milwauke for 4 days before getting home in early August.

The flight over sucked big time

Brissy to Sydney, Sydney to LAX, LAX to Chicago, Chicago to Cincinnatti, with 1 1/2 hrs wait in Sydney, 3 hrs in LA, 2 1/2 in Chicago and finally arrived in Cincinnatti 30 hrs later

Plus my bags went missing somewhere between LA and Cincinnatti

It finally turned up 24hrs later

Got to say that where I am at present (Milford Ohio) doesnt seem to bad, very open, not crowded and people seem pretty nice, although they all talk funny

Petrol is $2.95 a gallon, and they are squealing like stuck pigs about it should have seen their faces when I told them we are about $5+ a gallon

Everything is big over here, the servings in the resturants, the cars, the supermarkets and the waistlines

Saw my first Landy tonight too, a 90 in the supermarket car park

Will report more once I get out of the hotel room some more.

    Enjoy the trip you bugger.

    What am I up to?

Well arrived in West End after a 10 min drive from home.
I'm working and everything is pretty similar to yesterday.
    Saw one Landy (mine)
Will be home in about 4 hours.
    Cool hey

(Actually I got a free breakfast at the Sofitel this morning ). Mortgage Industry breakfast. Food was sh*te, speaker was atrocious, and generally a waste of time.
I wanted to stab myself in the neck with my fork, but just waited patiently for the end of his mindnumbing, word for word off the powerpoint gawdawful presentation

    So, ENJOY your trip you

YOU MUST DO THIS. While you are in Ohio, go to the US Air Force museum at Dayton. Their museum has more firepower than our airforce and is a must see. Ohio is not that big and it would be like driving to Canberra from Sydney for the day. And don't waste time see the Imax shows, there is too much to see. Ask about the Annex too, it has some great stuff they don't have on show.
    Have fun!

I wish when I was working for someone they'd send me to the states, best I ever got was to Cairns and driving back visiting suppliers. Have a great time,

    Regards

Maybe you can bring back some Disco cup holders for your buddies?
Call Roversnorth and have them shipped to your hotel.
    1-800-403-7591.
$54 US a set + state taxes and shipping.
Light enough to carry, although awkward.
Of course over here (Canada) we refer to them as Robbers North for some of the pricing they have.
