The Oshkosh 'e' light tactical vehicle- Hybrid electric

Get a load of this, impressive.

The eJLTV charges the battery while in use, fully recharging the lithium-ion battery within 30 minutes. This eliminates the need for a charging infrastructure, which remains one of the most significant challenges to the electrification of the tactical wheeled vehicle fleet.

The rise of IEDs has pretty much wiped out the market for retired general purpose military vehicles, those Perenties really are the last of the breed......

I bet the next is hydrogen tanks. You can easily hear a current tank moving several kilometers away. A silent tank would be bloody frightening except of course for the common as mud new drones including IR and thermal imaging making it hard being invisible any where in any thing

Similar system to what Nissan and Audi have - but a 115kW inbuilt generator is pretty extreme.
