    Gai-Tronics Weather Proof Speaker Phones

Items designed for out side use and fully configurable. It would need NDIS approval and installation configuration.

A bit happy today we have received our new mobile hoist which is lighter and easy to move around. And also nurse next door company has got another 2 more ladies to join the team to help look after Mario. So I will have to show them what has to be done to look after Mario. Also they will have to be shown how to use the hoist safely, and do some light house work. Heather

I spoke to soon, later this afternoon, when I tried to use the hoist and found that I couldn't lift Mario up high enough and in the sling he was bent like a banana. We found the photos of the trial and found that the wrong one was ordered. So we are back to the start. I have email the OT and our manager, and being the weekend can not do anything. One thing is that the guy left the one we where hiring here as he didnt have room to take it back, so he is coming back on Monday to pick it up. So I am sure S// will hit the fan on Monday .

Maybe so, but life certainly doesn't need to be made harder by ill informed, grafting ineptitudes who view profiteering out of the whole exercise as 'success'.

No argument from me. I think it's disgusting the way genuine people who deserve and need a hand are treated.

That is terrible Heather. Mario's has been let down several time now by shocking management. Trying to help is ok, I can excuse parks Vic hoist not being the correct height to lift him out of his chair during what was a trial. The OT's and others need retaining on what they can do and what they need to consider before they arrange what is clearly very dangerous if it fails. Room to take it back? Shove it out on the street and call me if you need a hand to move it

Well the OT and the guy from the company came out today. At the first trial we used one model, which worked really good, but due to Mario weight and being so tall it took him over the weight recommendation for that hoist, and it had smaller wheel which was harder to use on carpet and I had to manually open the legs of the hoist. I don't know why he bought that one in the first place. The second trail a week later he bought out one for Mario weight and height, which has remote control which opens the legs and bigger wheel for the carpet. So they worked out it was the sling that was the problem to holding him right. So change the sling and he is going to bring in another sling to try as well. So after all the hoisting and mucking around this afternoon has worn Mario out. So when everyone left I had to put him in to bed. This is what I have noticed over the last couple of months, when he has a big day it does take a lot out of him this is because the MSA taking a little bit more of him. Heather

The lift phone got replaced with another one the same as the one that suffered water . The repairman told Heather the lift is an out side lift but the phone isn't
He keeps telling the company that the phones are not waterproof but the still send them out,

Today an invoice arrives for $1608 replacement exactly the as the one that got water damaged.
Of the $1600 , $300 was a service call and the balance was the phone.
    We are disputing this,
