    BlackBettys spoilt

    Hi Guys
    Not only has BlackBetty got a wiring upgrade,I have just ordered an EFS +50mm suspension kit and polyairs for the rear.
    The real coup is Ive also ordered what may actually be one of the last GENUINE Landrover Disco2(Safari) snorkel kits off Ebay(a ford/landrover stealer).It was much cheaper than a Safari,BUT the $200 freight will make it around the same.Try and get one from Landrover,I got Southern Landrover and Albany Landrover to track one down,the answer was no longer available go to ARB.

    A mate just paid $540 for Safari from ARB, for his Td5 Defender. Is there any physical difference between this and the 'genuine' Safari snaorkel that were availale from LR dealers, aprt from the price? Also how much cheaper are they through a dealer?


    Also is there any major need for a snorkel if your not going all submariner with ya vehicle? does it really supply cleaner air to the intake??

    They are both made by Safari,they are cheaper from Landrover,and the genuine ones have LANDROVER down the side instead of Safari.
    Plenty on discusion in the tech section,biggest problen is the Disco(along with most jap 4x4s) gets its air from inside the gaurd,which isnt the cleanest of air available.

    Drivesafe does a headlight and driving light upgrade kit.Brighter lights as the power is directed from the battery to the lights via relays rater than the current running all the way up to the switch and to the lights.
