    Front Runner packaging issues

    Hi team

Today I received a Front Runner rear wheel mount for my Defender. I only ordered it on Tuesday and it’s here already!

It arrived in a large box and I could hear all the parts moving around inside which didn’t sound promising.

When I opened the box there was virtually no packing around the large main part. There was a small sheet of bubble wrap and a couple of lengths of styrofoam and cardboard lying on the bottom. A couple of smaller parts shrink wrapped but nothing to secure any of them.

I pulled the large bit out and straight away I was disappointed to see a couple of chips in the paint work clearly having been hit by other components flying around.

This is very disappointing with such an expensive item and more so as this is the third time I have had Front Runner equipment damaged in transit due to insufficient/poor packaging resulting in the previous items being returned.

Is it just bad luck on my part or do others have issues here?

    Cheers - Simon

That doesn't look like it's got any primer on it?

Yeah good point! It’s going back anyway and will be replaced so I guess I will never know if the replacement has primer.

It's a shame a lot of suppliers don't do any prep for powercoating, leads to a lot of myths about it.

Hope you get an undamaged one eventually!

    Cheers,
