Thanks, do they fit with standard suspension?

285 is all the ''sport'' comes in now. they will fit a stock 110 but the rear tyres will rub on the top spring mounts on hard cornering. so i suggest better offset rims.
as for the tyre, i love em! quite, yes, good grip everywhere, yes, cheap tough good k's too.
cheers phil
Can these tryes still be bought. Might be in the market for a set of the 33" 12.5 r15 ones. Had a look but cannot find suppliers in Vic.

I'm pretty sure you can still get them but I dont think they come in the size you want. AFAIK they only come in 31x10.5x15 and 285x75x16.
Try Chapel Corner Tyres in Richmond Vic 03 9534 6268. They are are the sole Victorian importer/distributor of Silverstone Tyres.
I ran them on my D1 after stepping down in size from 35 inch simex's and found them very good. Being a radial they handled better on the road. I thought they wore down pretty quickly but for the price it didn't matter. Great grip and even though they were smaller and supposedly less aggressive I still went places GU's on 36's couldn't get.
They show on the brochure in the 33". Time for a call me thinks!

All 4 wheels on the ground but pretty close to maximum flex:
