    Things we do at bed time

    So Mum is out for the night, and Dad has had a bit of nice Shiraz.

    We did a tour of the Perth Mint today, so Mr 8 year old had plenty of bedtime questions about gold, coins and the mechanics of the refining and coining process, which then segued (as it does) into discussing time and Einsteins theory of special relativity. Started out as a discussion about turning back time, but it always has to start somewhere I suppose.

    There is something strangely satisfying about discussing metallurgy, physics and the universe with an 8 year old.

    We also played Duplo.

    Oh, to keep it relevant we took the Disco to and from the Mint.

    Mine is still demanded, Good Night, Sleep tight, Don't let the bed bugs bite. The 22 year old uni student yells if I neglect his room.
    It may have been my mums of course
